Our Story

Founded in 2014 by producer and screenwriter Jeremy Chua, Pōtocol is a film company focused on the development and co-production of auteur driven films from around Asia.

To date, Pōtocol has co-produced A Lullaby to the Sorrowful Mystery by Lav Diaz (Silver Bear, Berlinale Competition 2016); A Yellow Bird by K. Rajagopal (Cannes Critics Week 2016); Brotherhood by Pepe Diokno (Karlovy Vary IFF 2016), A Family Tour by Ying Liang (Opening Film, International Competition Locarno IFF 2018), Motel Acacia by Bradley Liew (Tokyo IFF 2019), Death of Nintendo by Raya Martin (Berlinale 2020) and A Love Unknown by John Clang (Rotterdam IFF 2019).

It is currently developing new projects with Makbul Mubarak, Bùi Thạc Chuyên, Phạm Thiên Ân, Nicole Midori Woodford, Nelicia Low, Deepak Rauniyar, and The Maw Naing.
